Seems like
Yesterday I was remembering how much fun it is to ride a bicycle, when I was a kid it was all that I did basically. I remember one Christmas I got this Diamondback that I had my eyes on for awhile, and it was probably one of the best moments of my life. I can literally remember how great the fresh rubber of the new tires smelled, and how shinny the new chrome was [it was all about chrome in the 90's]. It's been almost 8 years since I've even ridden a bicycle, but I really want to start putting a bike together as my next project, since my audio setup is good at the moment. The only thing is that I'm a lot larger than I used to be, so I'm gonna have to put together a pretty formidable bike to handle my stature being 6'4" and 230lbs. I spend about 8 or 9 hours on my elliptical every week, so thankfully I''ll still be in decent shape to ride. The thought of riding through the empty streets of my city at night with some Burial beating it's way to my ears is a thought that makes me all the more determined to get this project under way... I will ride again
Back on it
Well it's been awhile since my last post, but things seem to be looking up. Got my desktop all rebuild and back in tip top shape, new set of Mackies, and a Saffire 6 & set of AKG k240's on their way in the mail. As far as the endless job hunt, it's still going on, but with some promising positions coming available at the beginning of the year. At the family Christmas party my old man also talked about getting me on as a machinist apprentice at the shop he works at [Did someone say Christian Bale? lulz] which would be amazing for me. I really enjoy working with my hands, and the work never ends. Here's to putting 2011 behind me and conquering the new year!

Horrible Bosses SUCKS!!!
So I just recently rented, and watched Horrible Bosses. From the trailer it seemed like it had all the ingredients to be a funny movie, but like most everything else that has come out in past 5 years it failed to deliver. The beginning was ok, but as the movie progressed it became clear that the movie was extremely watered down. Jump ahead thirty minutes.. My girlfriend and I just decide to turn it off, as it's horrible and boring us to death... Terrible movie
I prefer seeing Charlie Day in an unedited roll, like his character from It's Always Sunny. His Character in this movie seemed like the type of roll Steve Carrell would be better fit for.

Iran-Contra (redux)
All of this gun smuggling business down on the border really reminds me of Iran-Contras in the 80's. I mean it makes a lot of sense to me that the ATF would be supplying drug cartels with automatic weapons. What better way to make profit while also arming the people moving your product. Perhaps I'm just cynical, but this all seems to tie in with the sudden need to begin the raids on medical marijuana dispensaries. I guess they don't like it when tax paying citizens cut into their profits, so lets get it back into the hands of murdering criminals as fast as we can.

Occupy
I'm proud of my country right now, it's about time that everyone stood together to peacefully protest. It's been a very depressing period for us in our twenties and thirties, but it's becoming exciting again. I remember graduating in 2005, and getting a job straight out of school, then quitting after three days. It was hard labor, and I've always been a big wimp[I would kill for that job now]. The following week I moved to a new town, and got a job as a medical software technician. It was great for awhile, and I learned a lot, but in all honesty I wasn't mature enough to have that much responsibility. About two weeks later I got another job at Circuit City, and up until 2008 I never had trouble finding work. The point of my little tangent is that for the past three years I haven't even had an interview, and I now have a son to raise. America took a nose dive and has only gotten worse from there. It's time for people to stand up for our rights, and demand action.

Getting back into 80's
I'm really liking the sound of 80's synth disco. I've been struggling to find a new style of music for a while now, and I think I've found my spot. There are so many songs, all great, on youtube.
Awesome stuff

The Office
Just starting watching The Office for this season. Is it just me or are they trying to turn Andy's character into Michael? I guess thats the formula that works though, so go with what you know. That being said I still find the show enjoyable, and there are plenty of places for the plot to go. I think that if the show can survive this season then it will fair well for a little while.
